Participants will be able to:

• Describe key shifts in the Mississippi Accountability Model.

• Break down the components of the Mississippi Readiness Index (MRI).

• Interpret the updated scale scores and understand their impact on proficiency and

growth.

• Clarify misconceptions about low-performing students and Full Academic Year (FAY)

status.

• Understand ACT and ACT WorkKeys Super Scoring and upcoming ACT assessment

changes.

• Identify strategies to improve the Graduation Rate and strengthen the 7–12

instructional structure.
