Phonics First® (6-12 Structures) Orton-Gillingham Self-Paced (Group 2526-2)
Prerequisite: Phonics First Structures Level 1
This course review provides one-year access to the content taught in Brainspring's Structures® Level I course. Participants review multisensory techniques, strategies, and concepts through videos and on-screen interactions. New insights are gained, and the program's accuracy is emphasized to support delivery with fidelity
Course content is designed for: 6th-12th grade general education teachers, K-5th grade special education teachers, literacy coaches, interventionists who have completed Phonics first Structures Level 1
Self-paced professional development allows educators to receive training on their own schedule within the enrollment period. A suggested pacing guide is provided to help participants manage their time. To promote fidelity, course information is easy to engage with through built-in interactions, discussion assignments, and submitting recorded practice lessons for personalized feedback. Brainspring Instructors are available to answer questions via email.
Cancelation Policy:
Participants must cancel 21 days before the training begins. If participants cancels after materials have been shipped, the participant or school district is responsible of the cost of materials
Teachers must commit to completing the full 30 hours of course work.
Materials will be shipped in advance; therefore, NO walk-ins will be allowed to attend.

Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 | Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
