Grade 12 SREB Essentials for College Literacy (Session I, July 23-25)
Literacy:
Educators that will be assigned either the SREB Literacy Ready or Essentials for College in ELA/Literacy Courses during the 2024-2025 school year will be trained and learn the skills, activities, and dispositions needed to teach the aforementioned courses.
You MUST have a valid 3-year or 5-year Mississippi 119 (English) educator's License Prior to Registering for this Training.
Attendance is required ALL 3 days of the session

| Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 | Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
