SREB
SREB will host two three-day, 18 hour, training sessions for teachers who will be assigned to either the SREB Ready for High School, SREB ready, or essentials for College Courses in ELA/Literacy during 202-2026 school year who have not already completed the trainings and obtained the required 900-level supplementaal licensure endorsement.
Literacy:
Educators that will be assigned either the SREB Literacy Ready or Essentials for College in ELA/Literacy Courses during the 2025-2026 school year will be trained and learn the skills, activities, and dispositions needed to teach the aforementioned courses.
You MUST have a valid 3-year or 5-year Mississippi 119 (English) educator's License Prior to Registering for this Training.
Attendance is required ALL 3 days of the session

| Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 | Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
