Approved Specialized Early Childhood Education Training Program

This face-to-face training is offered to teachers that need to acquire twelve hours of approved early childhood coursework to teach in Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.  The completion of this training program, which includes the entire two-week boot camp participation and the completion of two on-line courses, will be the equivalent of twelve hours of course work needed for teachers and assistants of pre-kindergarten classrooms (general education/special education) lacking an emphasis in early childhood.  The boot camp training will also meet the requirements of professional development for administrators of pre-kindergarten classrooms.

TARGETED PARTICIPANTS: Kindergarten teachers and principals of schools with kindergarten classrooms

If you have a three (3) year emergency license, you are NOT eligible for a Pre-K endorsement and cannot obtain CEUs.
